What do you Want to be Known For?

Enoch walked with God and never saw death. Maybe he really deserved not to see death having endured dying to the world around him, for 300 years. (Genesis 5:24) Noah was just a man. Yes, a man who also had his youthful years, was flesh, had emotions, has fears, had wants, had feelings... But He chose to walk with God. He lived in the midst of a world that totally displeased God so we can imagine the pressure, the daily heart and soul pain he had to carry and daily death he had to die. So much that God looked upon the corrupt earth and found only HIM worthy. (Genesis 6:12) Hm....What kind of seperation is this? That a man, flesh and blood would choose to follow a minority kind of God in a violent and corrupt world. These two great men, we know not much about them. Yet we know so much about one thing in their life that counts; they stood out for Christ. My dear friends, What do you want to be known for? Do you just wanna be like a wind that breezed though mother earth and left the ...

Feeling Insecure? Here are Five Tips to Building Your Self Confidence

I should end this lengthy series on insecurities here. I remember when I still little, I'd wake my mum up in the middle of of the night, after a bad dream, shivering in fear. And my mum would just recite this verse to me; For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 She did that everytime I woke her up for months if not years until I got to understand it myself. As breeds of Christ, "fear" is something we should only allow under our feets. Our insecurities are results of our fears. And If you belong to God, you don’t need to fear what others think of you! Instead, you can step forward boldly into His purpose for you. Of Power, He gave. That Power, is our confidence. Sound mind is what happen when you let your fears evaporate, When you accept your identity in Christ. This is one of my favorite scriptures and I hope it encourages and helps you overcome insecurity if this is a feeling you struggle with person...

We Live by Faith and Not by Sight

𝐇𝐦 ... 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬? 𝐎𝐫 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡? I've seen so many people, even myself, quit on prayers, 'cause of "nothing has changed". The same God who had left us mighty words of "𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕." Faith is a choice. Your faith is what you believe in, the peace that you see in the midst of the raging storm of reality. Maybe our prayers looks so unanswered because we have chosen not to see and believe the personality of our God. We hear almost everyday that "His silence means a thousand words", that "His plans are good" and "Our future is Secure", yet do we really believe? Without Faith, frustration comes in , in the place of prayer. Then weariness, which in turn wounds the soul. I believe that God answers every prayer i make. it's either, "Oka...

Change is Possible with God

" I don't know the Future. I don't even know how this change would work. I'm not trying to understand but I know my change is possible because I now know who holds the future." The reason why most people give up on change is solely because they spend more time trying to comprehend how long their period of being a changed person would last. Life has always been this ironical. We always end up having what we fear the most. Hm... So how can we change that? Stop being afraid. Stop trying to understand every situation. Stop trying to comprehend... Stop dwelling on your fears of inconsistency. Just live. Everyday fixing your gaze on the one who understands. Then, we'll be able to say; "I don't understand. I don't even know what I'm doing. But I know who knows and I trust Him." I believe one way of getting away with our pasts and moving on with Jesus is actually replacing all those ugly scene, past addictions with Christ, with His promises, H...

Living in Christ Light is Real Life

The Life-light is the real thing. Jesus being the Light and Life. Every person entering Life with Him, He brings into Light. He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn’t even notice. He came to his own people, but they didn’t want him. But whoever did want him, who believed He was who He claimed and would do what He said, He made to be their true selves, their child-of-God selves. These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten but GOD-BEGOTTEN. (John 1:9‭-‬13) A life in the light of Christ is a life of Peace. Those who believe in and keep His commands; He will keep their souls not only alive but well. They'll travel safely, and not stumble. They'll take afternoon naps without a worry, and enjoy a good night’s sleep. No need to panic over alarms or surprises, or predictions that doomsday’s just around the corner, Because God will be right there with them; he’ll keep them safe and sound. (Proverbs 3:21‭-‬26...
