Gratitude can change the direction of this week for good. Still, hesitating?

Here are five amazing benefits of giving thanks to God

 Gratitude helps us to see God. The more you thank Him, the more reasons you'd find to thank Him. The more you thank Him, the more you see God working in and around you.

 Gratitude qualifies you for more of God's blessings. Remember the ten lepers in luke 17:11-19

 Gratitude brings Contentment and makes what you have enough. This means gratitude brings happiness because contentment brings happiness in itself.

 Emotional security? Yes, you will be happy with what you have and who you are and will not compare or refer to anyone else's. A truly grateful heart has no room left for hate or self-comparison.

 And lastly, Gratitude fully positions us in the centre of God's will. It is God's will that we are grateful for at all times. (1 Thessalonian 5:18)

The Story Of Salvation According To Matthew 1

The name “Jesus”, like the Hebrew name Joshua, means “the LORD (Jehovah) saves”. The word “Christ” is from the Greek language and means “anointed one”. Its meaning is the same as “Messiah” taken from the Hebrew. The Messiah was to be anointed by God – that is, set apart and consecrated by God, to fulfill the promises of the Old Testament. He was to be prophet, king, and priest. According to the Old Testament the Messiah had to be a descendant of Abraham, the father of the Jewish nation, and of David, Israel's greatest king.
